Examples of Accidents Not Covered by Insurance
Payment will be made in accordance with the insurance company's terms and conditions.
Customers can choose No coverage or upgrade to Economy, Standard, or Premium Compensation. Each location has different coverage details and deductibles. Please check carefully.
We recommend adding a compensation plan because vehicle repairs in Japan can be very expensive.

Breakage or Damage of Rental Vehicle:
Maximum burden of customer: 110,000 yen (including tax) per accident. Non-operation charge (NOC) will be charged separately.
The deductible for property damage insurance will be charged separately.

Breakage or Damage of Rental Vehicle:
Maximum burden of customer: 110,000 yen (including tax) per accident. Non-operation charge (NOC) will be charged separately.
11,000JPY (TAX included) / Day
Breakage or Damage of Rental Vehicle:
Maximum burden of customer: 110,000 yen (including tax) per accident.
If the vehicle requires repair or cleaning due to a traffic accident, theft, breakdown, defacement, or other causes not attributable to Japan C.R.C., the customer will be charged a NOC as compensation for lost sales opportunities during the repair or cleaning period.

It is exempted if you subscribe to Premium Compensation, except at Narita Office.
Regardless of the vehicle's booking status, this charge applies because Japan C.R.C. loses sales opportunities.
In case of trouble, we subscribe to roadside assistance. If you experience issues such as engine failure, a dead battery, a broken belt, a flat tire, locking the key inside the vehicle, running out of gas, or towing after an accident, please contact the emergency roadside assistance number.
Please be aware that towing costs over 150,000JPY will be charged to the customer.
Customers may still be charged even when subscribed to a compensation plan.
Even if the rental vehicle cannot run on its own and is transported by tow truck, transportation and accommodation expenses from the accident site to your destination are not covered.
